The Presenter:
Basya Freidman, M.Ed
Basya (Barbara) Friedman is a licensed psychologist in Philadelphia, where she has been in private practice for over 33 years. She originally trained and worked as a physical therapist and, though the work was gratifying, she felt that there was more to understand about how mental and emotional well being influenced her patients’ physical improvement and experience of pain. Thus began a long journey back to school for a psychology degree, and a self-directed path through a score of theories and therapies in search of what she knew to be the truth of the underlying unity of body, soul, mind, and emotions. Finding the Innate Health/3 Principles Paradigm felt like finding home. Basya lives in Lower Merion, Pa., just outside of Philadelphia. In her opinion, her daughter, son-in-law and 3 granddaughters live too far away.
