It might seem silly to ask, but do you have faith? I don't mean to ask if you have a religion, but rather I mean to ask, what do you take for granted? Or another way to ask it might be, what things in life are a given, so much so, that you don't even need to give it a second thought? Myself and everyone I know, has faith in the sun. I don't mean we worship the sun, rather I mean, that to us, the sun coming up each morning is so expected, so ingrained in |
us as a forgone conclusion, that we do not waste an iota of mental energy worrying about it or creating back up plans for sunlight. We have a deep almost unshakable faith in the patterns of the solar system. (If you are utterly bored, google: sunrise problem.)
If someone were to ask me today, how will the 3 Principles help me? I would not say that the 3 Principles are a way to banish bad feelings or create good ones. Innate Health is not a thought management company. Rather, I'd say, that awakening to the 3 Principles shows you the patterns of your inner solar system, so that, your faith in your own ability to be resilient and rediscover your well-being is never extinguished even within the throws of a dark and terrible experience. I'd say you can take off your mind the worry of, "How will I ever find happiness again?"
I have yet to meet anybody who has as much effortless faith in their own Innate Health as they do in the coming sunrise. But it is clear, the more grounded an individual becomes in the simple truth of the G-d driven, inside out nature of reality, the more faith they have in a higher feeling of gratitude and compassion being just one, short, moment away - for anyone. And, the less faith they have in the vagabond, trespassing thought of self importance, judgement and victimization.
