War of the Worlds (1938)

At times, I get that "anxious" feeling while watching a tense drama - but it's not a problem, because I know, it's a just a show! But imagine, if you were watching a movie, and you forgot that the scene was just an illusion on a screen.  Well if that happened, all of sudden it's real - the villians are a BIG problem and you'd run from the theater in terror.
Picture
A famous instance of this was a 1938 broadcast called War of the Worlds. According to one estimate, over 1 million people panicked, believing the world had been invaded by aliens. And it was only a  fictional news radio program!
In life, even after learning the 3 Principles, we all continue to forget that we are living in the illusion of Thought & Consciousness. When that occurs, issues seem more urgent and stressful than they really are - and so, we get anxious or depressed. This is all very normal and human! This is only a problem because we momentarily lost site of how those feelings arrived to us.

The fantastically different approach the 3 Principles offers in self-help is the relief from having to act, talk or even think in a different way in order to feel better. The 3 Principles point to the ridiculousness of trying to change your feeling.

The simplest, fastest most profound way to a better feeling is to realize* that all feeling is borne through the power of Thought & Consciousness.

We are designed to eventually wake up to this.

Give yourself a break, because soon enough, you'll remember that all your uncomfortable feelings are just a bad movie tricking you for a moment.

And you'll be free right then and there to change the channel.
